2.1 MANUFACTURERS

2.2 MATERIALS
A. White or orange PVDF Resin, a fluoropolymer compound.
2.3 PRODUCTS
A. Plenum rated flexible optical fiber/communication raceway.
B. Provide wire management in a building for fiber optic and
data and communications cabling.
C. Recognized per NEC Articles, 770 and 800 for Plenum, Riser
and General Purpose Raceway for optical fiber, and telecommunications
cables.
D. UL Listed
E. Meets UL 910 standards for Plenum Optical Fiber/Communications
raceways.
F. Provide all fittings to form a complete integrated raceway
system.
2.4 FABRICATION
A. Extrude raceway from precision extruded PVDF resin
B. 1"-2" diameter raceway shall have a 1/4" wide
1250 lb. tensile pull tape preinstalled.
C. Shall be available in 3/4" through 2" diameters.
D. Footage shall be sequentially marked.
2.5 RACEWAY COMPONENTS
A. Plenum Adapters and Fittings.
1. Threaded Aluminum Coupling: Molded Aluminum fitting which
connect two pieces of corrugated tubing equipped with threaded
ends.
2. Quick-Connect Couplings: Molded Part which allows two pieces
of 1” diameter corrugated tubing to be quickly snapped
together. Available only in 1" diameter.
3. Quick-Connect Threaded Male Adapters: Molded fitting which
quickly snaps onto a 1" diameter piece of corrugated
tubing to produce a threaded end. Available only in 1”
diameter.
4. Quick-Connect Male Snap-In Adapters: Molded fitting which
snaps onto a 1” diameter piece of corrugated tubing to
connect to an outlet or switch box. Available only in 1”
diameter.
5. Metallic Terminal Adapters: Molded metal part which allows
a piece of corrugated tubing to connect to metallic conduit
and metallic boxes.
